I can blog again!! I have sooo much stuff to blog. I'll start with this.
Last Sunday Dana Grant Photography and our favorite hair stylist Melody was invited to be part of a workshop at Los Willows. We met Rosana (she's awesome!) the coordinator from Los Willows when Bryon & Darci's wedding moved to South Coast Winery due to the wildfires.
It was so fun to meet people and especially talk to the other photographers. For all you aspiring photogs, networking with other photogs is a great help to your business. Plus it's fun to talk to other people who go through exactly what you do!

Melody and I didn't realize that we were going to be miles apart from each other for the day so I didn't get a chance to take pictures of her booth (boo).
But I was able to get a shot of her cute little handouts.

A couple of weeks ago we did a blog about this Launch Party we went to that was being filmed for Lifetime's Top This Party. Well, it airs tonight at 10pm. I can't wait to see our friend Lauren of Prince Events on this show. And it's fun to see if we show up somewhere in the background since we were there while they filmed the party. See if you can spot us!

For about six months now we've been working on our new website with more updated work, bigger photos and more fun layout to say the least. And we're so excited to show you a more complete body of work. So whether rain or shine, that site is going live by the end of this month. I had to make a declaration so I stick to it. I will not be a perfectionist and chicken out! (My new motto for this year.)

Yay! We were voted as one of "The Knot 2007 Best of Weddings Pick". My Mom & Jeremy always knew we were the best but I didn't! The Knot did a survey where brides voted and they voted for us! We are really honored to be listed as one of the best photographers in Orange County! I didn't even know they did surveys! Thank you so so much to everyone who voted for us. The magazine is out on new stands now if you would like to pick one up!
