Costa Mesa Photography: Eat Chow Wine Nights

One of my favorite restaurants in Costa Mesa is Eat Chow. My boyfriend would always take me there for breakfast and it became a tradition and special place. We've gone there so much over the last couple of the years we became regulars. So we were graciously invited to this special wine night, hosted at their Newport Beach location. Just imagine the most amazing six course meal, along with special pairings of wine from Goldschmidt Vineyards... Ridiculously delicious. Chow0001 Chow0002 Chow0003 Chow0004 Chow0005 Chow0006

Pujols Family Foundation Photography: ESPN fun zone night

Last Summer I had an opportunity to donate my services to Pujols Family Foundation. Their goal is to help improve the lives of those living with down syndrome. I've always had a heart for those with down syndrome and even tried getting a part time job tutoring right out of high school (but it never worked out). It meant a lot to me that I was able to donate photography to an organization that does special events like this. The event was all about giving families a special night of fun at the ESPN zone at Downtown Disney. They played games, ate food and spent quality time with others that really understand their unique situation.

To read more about this wonderful organization and what they do, check out their website: Pujols Family Foundation

Hudson's 1st Birthday in Hawaii!

Not only did I get to shoot Paris + David's engagement session in Hollywood and destination wedding in New York, I got the pleasure of shooting at yet another fun destination. This time for their little one's first birthday in Hawaii Kai (on Oahu). Paris designed and made everything. She's crazy talented and also a photographer. She's always been so positive throughout the years, I'm blessed to know her and David too! Thank you both so much for having me! I adore this polaroid heart. I've been collecting some old Polaroids to do this with for years! There's a Chinese tradition to have the 1 year old pick from all these items and whichever one he chooses will be his career. When everyone got excited and made a lot of noise when he went to pick, it scared him! He also didn't like the feeling of frosting on his fingers. So funny! I love a good mushtashe.

Levi's First Birthday!

Levi is Owen's younger brother and it was his very first birthday. And Dana Grant Photography was there to document yet another historic event in the life of The Rachunok Family!

This party was a pirate theme and it was lots of fun!

The Birthday Boy!

Aunt Amy and Pirate Owen.

Owen enjoys a snow cone.

Levi did NOT enjoy his cake!

But he did enjoy this niefty piece of cardboard.....

....and this snow cone.....

....and being tossed in the air!

I love shooting kids eating. And they kept yelling, "El Pollo Loco!"

Aren't we cute?! Melody, Levi and Dana. (Thanks Amy!)

I adore Levi's laugh!

Happy Birthday Levi! We love you!

Jeremy's Surprise Party!

The Russian: Jeremy Rachunok.

His very ambitious wife decided to plan a surprise party for his 30th birthday. Quite the undertaking but as usual, she pulled it off!

A show.

Here's the invite I designed: I put Jeremy's face on Elvis! I have way too much fun doing stuff like this!

He had no idea!

I really love this one of them dancing!
