Costa Mesa Photography: Jessica Rey at Sidecar Doughnuts

You might recognize Jessica Rey from our shoots of her vintage inspired swimwear line, Rey Swimwear, her amazing video that went viral The Evolution of the Swim Suit or from her work as a Power Ranger. She's one of the cutest people ever and so fun to work with! Jes' hair and makeup was by Brides by Melody and her skirt and incredible white dress with flamingos (yes FLAMINGOS!) was designed by Meghan at Kostoll Shop.  It was so fun and inspiring being around such a fabulous group of gals!

Sidecar Dougnuts is my favorite dougnut shop. I didn't even really like dougnuts until I tried one of their amazing cake-like delicousness. Then I was hooked. The shop is located dangerously walking distance from my house. I've always loved the vibe and wanted to shoot there. Since Jes needed some new shots for her new book coming out and for her website, we decided Sidecar would be the perfect place.

Everyone has several of these laying around the house. You know you do! Too cute to throw away.

Iced coffee with one of the most beautiful doughnuts I've ever seen!  The outside of Sidear is so cute. A perfect place to hang with friends or read a book while enjoying your treats.

The boots and the flamingos were too cute!

Madeleine + Joshua, Quail Hill Photography

A few weeks ago, I photographed a little sunset session of these two. They are getting married again for their ten year anniversary in Greece soon. I am so happy (and a little jealous) for them! They needed some romantic pictures for their wedding website and also, why not?! I enjoy a couple that loves each other after all these years and you can see how romantic these turned out.

This lovely location is Quail Hill in Irvine. I love the Amber color and it matches my wood header perfectly. It's the little things : )

Slim Aarons meets Mad Men Inspired Shoot

In honor of Rebecca June's new website, I'm posting her fabulous portrait session! Every year I shoot her card and 2013's did not dissapoint. Becca is a fabulous interior designer with amazing style. When she told me her idea, I was immediately on board with the mid-century modern Palm Springs vibe. And the swan! And the dog! My heart skipped a beat. Check out this fun session and make sure to check out Becca's new website:

Her dress was shortened for this shoot. It was her mother's bridesmaid's dress for her aunt's wedding in the 60s. How perfect!
