Target and Hispanicize in Miami!

Somehow all the stars aligned and I got the opportunity to: 1. Go to Miami for 8 days 2. Shoot an event for Target, as in Target

It was for an event called Hipanicize which brings brands, media, marketers, celebrities, filmmakers, innovators and bloggers together in a unique creative environment focused on ideas and best practices.

What I shot was the amazing Target Lounge, complete with high quality headphones from Emilio Estefan + Monster.

Here's a couple of details shots. Can't wait to show you the rest! Targetdetailsfb

New York Film

When I went to shoot a wedding in New Jersey we made a New York trip out of it. The only thing I used to shoot while out was my iPhone and Yashica D. This is the film I had crossed processed so the colors would be different. I wasn't sure at first about this film, but now that I see it all together, I actually love it!

Chicago Elopement Photography: Rochelle + Anthony

Rochelle + Anthony had a beautiful, small ceremony in Tinley Park, only surrounded by close family. They surprised their little girls by telling them of their elopement the morning of the wedding. The girls were ecstatic! And I couldn't stop taking their pictures. What an honor to be part of the special day. Love that Rochelle put the sign in! The flowers and the girl's headpieces were so beautiful! The ring bearer. The family setting up. This was so special. Anthony gave the girls each a bracelet. The whole wedding party!

Inspire Smart Success: Film from the Dominican

Last month, I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Inspire Smart Success workshop in the Dominican Republic. I had the time of my life! The experience was beyond incredible, both personally and professionally. I'm still working on getting more pictures up and words together, but here's the film I shot with my Yashica D. This was my first time using the camera and I'm excited how these turned out.

We stayed at the Sancuary Cap Cana Resort. The wonderful woman who made it all possible, Stacie of Inspire Smart Success. Dana and Hunter of Broke Ass Bride. I just adore them!

More digital pictures coming soon! Here's one..

Memorial Day in New York..

I just shot a super fun wedding in New Jersey (they know how to party!) and now off to New York. This is my first trip to NJ and third to New York. My fabulous bestie brides flew me there to do a mentor session and we had an incredible time last September. First time, I shot an amazing Central Park elopement. Since it's Memorial Day, I thought I'd post these from the 9/11 Memorial. It was incredibly moving and real to be there. I found myself in tears and very emotional thinking about all the lives lost that day. These roses and gifts left out really touched me.

I hope everyone says a little prayer for those who lost someone.. Have a safe Memorial Day!
